P3R’s Ode to LA: Lisa’s Hot Spots
16 May 2012
Just when you think you can’t escape the hustle and bustle of the city, there are places of solitude and serenity to be discovered here in Los Angeles. Follow P3R’s journey through the City of Angels.
Who: Lisa, Lifestyle Department Intern
When We’re Not in the Office You Can Find Us:
- Atop my list and amongst the clouds is the Penthouse Restaurant in the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, boasting a seductive aura of rich flavors, canopied tables, a candlelit circular bar, and a warm fireplace in their sitting area.
- Comparable is the more modern Takami Sushi and Robata Restaurant that looks down from the twenty-first floor on Downtown Los Angeles’ Financial District giving you an ethereal feel.
- Walking through the lights, or lampposts at LACMA, you can come across the unexpected Ray’s and Stark Bar, offering your palate and your dining experience a very unique and personal journey through a variety of flavors at a table with your own silverware drawer.
- When you want to put your feet back on the ground, I suggest a romantic stroll through the Greystone Park, tucked away behind the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, offering you an escape from the city amongst the trees, fountains, and koi pond.
