“Life As We Don’t Know It”

Los Angeles is known for being a cultural hotspot and you can find the most entriguing art exhibits hidden throughout this city, if you know where to look.  The local Venezuelan Coupa Cafe is hosting a watercolor art opening of “Life As We Don’t Know It” by Venezuelan artist, Flor Troconis tomorrow night.

Now living in Los Angeles, Flor has always been moved by the natural beauty of her surroundings, “Since I was a little girl, I felt great joy with the vibrant colors from my tropical country, with the colorful homes, mountains, beaches, people and the way you live in the Caribbean, the weather, the heat, the rain, all the vast spectrum of colors had a big influence on my art.”

Thurs. Jan 19 6-9pm at Coupa Cafe / 419 N. Canon Dr. Beverly Hills

It’s an art reception of watercolors inspired by the barrios of Caracas, Favelas of Rio and wooden yalis of Istanbul. Sounds truly amazing! What’s your favorite kind of art?
