Dating back to the 50′s/early 60′s fashion, cat-eye sunglasses add a retro-glam flair to any look. The best thing about this style of sunglasses is their ability to accentuate your facial features. More angular cat-eyes can give the appearance of sharper facial features whereas more rounded cat-eyes can soften facial features. Celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Palermo, and Nicole Richie love donning these vintage frames.

One of the biggest trends of 2012, the denim on denim look, is still being rocked by the biggest of celebrities, including Rihanna and Gwen Stefani. This usual fashion faux-pas made its fashion debut in the Spring and is continuing to turn heads into the Fall season. Here are a couple of tips on how to rock this look.

  • Try different shades of denim. This will help break up the look of one uniform textile.
  • Make sure the fit is right. Especially if you do decide to go with the same shade of denim, a great fit makes a great outfit.
  • If this is too much denim for you, break it up with a white shirt or a neutral-colored bag.
