I Would Run 500 Miles
6 Jun 2012
Happy National Running Day! With an average of 226 days of sunshine a year in Los Angeles, what better place to run than the great outdoors. We have a list of some of the top places to walk, jog, and run in the city.
1. Runyon Canyon Park is a favorite for locals. With endless trails and abounding trees, you can escape the city while still being in it.
2. Atop the city with some of the most gorgeous views is Griffith Park. Located by the Hollywood sign this is a favorite for tourists and hikers alike.
3. The beautiful strip along Manhattan Beach, The Strand, is great for people of all ages wanting to get out and enjoy the weather. It’s common to see the older residents walking alongside the young children in the neighborhood year round.
4. A total oasis farther from the hustle and bustle is Malibu Creek State Park with breathtaking views and climbs up to 1,000 feet. This will for sure challenge even the most in shape.
