We love that there is a day for truly everything you would ever want to appreciate. Atop our list of favorites are french fries, so simple yet so delicious! It may be Friday the 13th, but there is nothing scary about today, National French Fry Day, except for how many french fries we may eat.
Sounding a bit like Bubba from Forest Gump, with his countless varieties of shrimp dishes, we have a few variations of the french fry to jog your memory and your palate: waffle fries, thick-cut steak fries, curly fries, criss-cut fries, need we say more? How can you forget the Canadian version topped with the decadence of poutine. Not to mention this gravy and cheese concoction is French Canadian! Going more top-notch, have you tried the classic duck fat cooked french fries topped with parmigiano-reggiano and truffle oil? They’re to die for! Everyone has their own “special” seasoning, but we definitely have our favorite variation: the Coupa Frites from Coupa Café! We know we don’t have to go looking high and low to celebrate today.
