As if vampires have actually infiltrated our lives, they have taken over the big screen. From the fantasy romance series of Twilight by American author Stephanie Meyer and director Catherine Hardwicke to the HBO series True Blood, written by Charlaine Harris and created by Emmy award-winning Alan Ball, people just can’t seem to get enough of vampires. Now, hitting theaters today is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, about the untold secret life of our 16th president and his relentless hunt for the vampires plotting to take over the United States.
Based on the novel and screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith, Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov have chosen to resurrect this adaptation and make it into a film. Starring Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell and Dominic Cooper, we’ll see if Lincoln has what it takes to stop these zombies once and for all.
