Celebs Love Their Cat-Eye Sunglasses

One of the biggest trends in accessories this year–cat-eye sunglasses– are currently being rocked by the most fashionable celebrities this fall. Dating back to the 50′s/early 60′s fashion, cat-eye sunglasses add a retro-glam flair to any look. The best thing about this style of sunglasses is their ability to accentuate your facial features. More angular cat-eyes can give the appearance of sharper facial features whereas more rounded cat-eyes can soften facial features. Celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Palermo, and Nicole Richie love donning these vintage frames.

You can find cat-eye sunglasses and other great frames by Thierry Lasry available at P3R’s client Fred Segal’s boutique, Fred Segal Eyes.

New for Fall: How to Wear a Poncho

A poncho?! Yes, you read correctly. Ponchos are a great alternative to cardigans and bulky jackets while still providing the same warmth. Celebrities like Olivia Wilde are proving that ponchos can be one of the most fashionable articles of clothing a woman can own. Here are a few tips on how to make this look work for you:

  • Always contrast a loose-fitting poncho with something form-fitting. A poncho works for every figure, but don’t loose your shape and pair yours with skinny jeans or leggings for a super chic look.
  • Choose ponchos in neutral colors to layer over fall basics.
  • For a perfect fall look, try a long sleeve shirt under your poncho. This almost instantly adds a high-fashion flair to your everyday outfit.

P3R’s client C.Z. Falconer has a great collection of ponchos and sweaters in a variety of striped patterns available in the softest knits.

Sugar Loco Gives Rave Reviews for Coupa Cafe’s Desserts

Sugar Loco, an online dessert website featuring the best from all over the nation, is known for interviewing the top pastry chefs, featuring the most delicious recipes, and posting tasty treats for kids. Editor Alana DeLeon-Lott graciously visited P3R Publicity‘s client Coupa Café in Beverly Hills to try their delectable Venezuelan desserts.

Coupa Café is a hidden gem amongst Beverly Hills waiting to be discovered. Chef and owner Camelia Coupal prepared  for Sugar Loco her rich Chocolate Mousse made from 100% Venezuelan cocoa, that Alana found “light, airy and deliciously rich.” The editor noted that this recipe has been passed down two generations stating she could “taste the love and care that goes into this recipe.” Next up was Tres Leches that Alana found the BEST she has ever tasted, which is an honor coming from a dessert critique. Made with three milks, one secret to Camelia’s recipe, this Tres Leches was “melt in your mouth amazingness.” Lastly, Alana tried the irresistible Quesillo, a Venezuelan staple dessert with the flavor of rum and Venezuelan Crème Caramel. Strunsky On Mandated Reporting As Told By The Faribault Daily News

P3R Publicity‘s client Senior District Attorney Burke Strunsky was recently contacted by Cristeta Boarnini of the Faribault Daily News to speak on a deeply troubling issue that has recently surfaced in Southern Minnesota. The Shattuck-St Marys Boarding School was rocked by allegations that points to a key faculty member engaging in 17 acts of unlawful behavior punishable by judicial sentencing, which now looms over the school threatening to break its very foundation.

Senior District Attorney and author of The Humanity of Justice, Burke E. Strunsky champions the notion that any misconduct from those who hold a role of authority, in this case a teacher, not only leads to punishment by law of the immediate suspect, but often sparks questioning of whole establishments and Shattuck- St. Marys is no exception. With the threat of impending legal punishment, Shattuck-St. Mary’s is sighted in the article as defending its actions stating it was in accordance with legal guidelines stipulated for reporting misconduct.

To answer whether Shattuck-St. Mary’s conduct was actionable or not, legal experts have now been pulled into the discussion where Senior District Attorney Strunsky takes a look at solid facts weighed against solid knowledge of the legal system. The D.A.’s concise command of the law makes him a central voice within the article as he offers legal commentary in the most dire of times. To read about the ensuing conflict, visit HERE.
