Ashton Kutcher as ‘Steve Jobs’

It is confirmed that Ashton Kutcher will be portraying Steve Jobs in the upcoming film titled Jobs.  But what does Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs, have to say about this?  Wozniak remarks, ”The fear that many might have is that Ashton was selected because he’s ‘hot’ right now. But I feel that his selection was done in the most professional manner. And I’m glad that he’s onboard. I think he’ll put a lot into it and that he cares about this particular subject.”

According to Variety, the movie will follow Jobs from when he and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in 1976 to when Jobs returned to the company in the late 1990s after being forced out. Jobs’ later years will not be covered.  The film chronociles Jobs’ transformation from hippie to innovator.

Kentucky v. Kansas: For The Championship

For many, March Madness includes intense research, luck and passion to make the best picks possible for your bracket.  The last game of the basketball tournament is TONIGHT with Kentucky and Kansas battling it out for the title!  Tip off is estimated for 6:23pm (PST) held at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

It’s no surprise that Kentucky made it to the final game, but Kansas on the other hand, is a different story.  The Kansas Jayhawks came into the tournament ranked at 13 with the Kentucky Wildcats at number 2.  Kentucky is favored to win but time will tell!

Google Maps Directions Gets Real-Time Traffic

Los Angeles is notorious for having M-A-J-O-R traffic.  Thankfully, Google Maps finally got back on the bandwagon of what individual GPS units have been offering for months, by adding real-time traffic indicators to directions.

How could Google be so behind the times?  They technically aren’t.  Google Maps used to show estimates of trip times based on traffic. However, users complained of inaccurate gauges of traffic conditions so they scrapped it last year.  Now it’s back, and it’s supposed to be better than ever with constant updating.

Now there’s REALLY no excuse to be late to your next meeting (not that traffic was a good one anyway!)

Be Good To Yourself: Dr. Haworth’s Healthy Living Tips

Are you such a busy person that it’s hard to keep up with a certain diet/exercise routine? Take some healthy living tips from a surgeon!

Who: Dr. Randal Haworth, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon

For the professional with a busy lifestyle:

1.  For a quick snack, cottage cheese with pineapple is my go-to choice.  It’s a healthy balance for an in-between meal.

2. As I get older, my metabolism is changing, which means I need to change-up my routine and incorporate more aerobics with weight training.  I swear by my Technogym Elliptical.  It’s a professional grade machine that has a built-in TV so I can watch my favorite movies while working out.  It’s an incentive because I’ll watch the first half one day, then want to work out again the next day to finish it!  It’s all about tricking yourself into being active even when you don’t feel like it.

3. It’s very hard to keep on a strict diet when dining out, but at home I like to stick with soups and salads.  Soups are a great way to feel satisfied with just a few hundred calories. As long as I feel full, I’m a happy camper!

4. Another way I stay in shape is that I go on hikes with my dog every other day.  It’s a fun way to relax, while bonding with man’s best friend.
